When I created this portrait, I was feeling wonderful. I had just opened my new art studio and had recently finished performing in a play. I was on a high, confident that great things were unfolding in my career.
Gwen's favorite color is purple, which I used for the portrait, but yellow was the standout color for me. Yellow symbolises happiness, hope, and prosperity, perfectly capturing my emotions at the time.
